(1980 – Present) VP of Marketing for APSCREEN a leading public records research firm since 1980. Developed marketing, sales and public relations plans including internet strategy and development for multiple web sites. Responsible for all marketing, sales, internet marketing and public relations functions.

GoShip was an Internet start-up, venture-backed organization, begun in September 1999. GoShip’s e-commerce solution was a revolutionary new system that provided shipment rating software and services to e-merchants including both B2B and B2C.

With GoShip, e-merchants could make their shipping departments more profitable while customizing delivery options for their specific customer demands. GoShip’s primary target market, B2B procurement, is an area that analysts such as Merrill Lynch have predicted will reach $2.5 trillion by 2003.

Reported directly to the CEO and am responsible for both strategy, development and implementation of all new marketing programs including communications and public relations for the GoShip software development and launch. Developed and administrated $3M budget. Also handled market research for pricing of GoShip services. We have clearly positioned this company and its services as a leader that solves a long-term shipping dilemma.

iBASEt was established in 1986 to develop, market and implement a paperless manufacturing execution system (pMES) for the shop floor of discrete, complex manufacturing companies primarily in the aerospace, defense and electronics industries. 1987 revenues were $18 million. Tier 1 clients include Boeing, Motorola, Alliant Techsystems and BWX Technologies.

Reported directly to COO and was responsible for developing all marketing, marketing communications and public relations functions for the Solumina software product including e-commerce business development and marketing programs.

Developed strategic business plans for a two-phased approach to sell Solumina into both Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing companies. Created Tier 1 and Tier 2 product launches and directed R&D on a functional fit for organizations requiring a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution. Managed and directed the $1.5M budget

DataWorks, established in 1977, develops, markets, implements and supports client-server-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for mid-sized, discrete manufacturing companies. The company nearly doubled in size when it purchased the business information systems provider Interactive Group, and the 1997 sales revenue was over $147 million.

Reported to the VP Corporate Communications. Responsible for developing all marketing and communications programs for seven ERP software products. Joined DataWorks in 1994 when revenues were $16.8 million with no existing marketing department. After implementing high-visibility public relations and communications programs, revenues soared to $31.5 million. After navigating 3 mergers and acquisitions, DataWorks revenues topped $147 million.
